This work included drawing, painting, text, textiles, photography, digital collage and found objects. Inspired by Ishmael Reeds book of the same name, this was the first work I made as a Masters student at Goldsmiths University. Through it, I attempted to experiment with the black tradition of improvisation and the remix.
